I want to use AFS primer/sealer. How do I use the etch solution ? Can
I dip the parts into etch? Do I need to scrub the parts? Do I spray
the etch? Do I need mask for etch or primer? How much etch do I need
for tail ? Thanks.

You may want to check out Dan Checkoway's site on priming:

When I talked to AFS, they recommending using a spray bottle for the
etch, diluting as directed on the etch bottle. Spray the stuff on,
let it sit for a minute, scrub with Scotch-brite, rinse thoroughly.
And yes, you'll want a mask or good ventilation. And eye protection
is also a good idea. You could probably dip in the etch as well.
I used almost one quart of the undiluted etch on the tail.
Also, check out Andy Karmy's site. He has specific info on the AFS
primer:

The AFS etch is pretty much a high concentration detergent, typically
diluted with 1 part distilled water. I cover the parts to be etched
using a brush, let it sit for a minute or so, and then scrub lightly
with a synthetic 'scotch brite' pad. Make sure it is synthetic,
otherwise you have metal to metal corrosion possibilities. Once
scrubbed, simply rinse with water until all etch is removed. I use
rubber gloves for etching, and I do wear a respirator and safety
glasses to be safe.
It seems that one bottle of etch is good for about a gal of paint. I
would suspect that one would use a whole gal on the entire structure
of the plane, based on my use.
