I just received from fed X the DRDT-2 dimpler. Put it together and practiced a bit on some scap Al. Those of you that have this machine any words of advice or help would be appreciated. I would like to increase that learning curve vicariously. I have a new C-frame from Avery that I will propbably sell if the DRDT-2 lives up to it's rep.

HS / VS Primed with one part water borne polyureathane (AFS Product) ready to start bangen those rivets. Once I got the new HVLP DeVilbiss gun to work correctly it gave a great coat on all parts and skin interiors.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions in this matter.

Frank,

I have a DRDT-2 and love it. I probably won't ever use my C-Frame
again. There isn't much of a learning curve. The instructions give
a clear explanation on how to adjust it and it only takes a couple
of minutes. After that it is just dimple to your hearts content. I
just finished dimpling my flaps and ailerons and it took much less
time than my empennage where I used the C-frame.

I made one modification that I found useful. I had a small laser
pointer that I mounted on the side of the frame that points directly
at the lower die center. This makes it very easy to line up the
hole to be dimpled with the die and sped things up a lot.

Good luck with it, you'll love it.
