Has anyone purchased the $279 pneumatic squeezer from the Yard
Store. The web page indicates its "rebuilt" aqnd probably a clone of
a CP.

I purchased it a few months ago while working on my Emp. I have only
been able to use it a few times because of constant interuptions of
hurricane Charley, Francis and Jeanne.(All came within 20 miles of
me and consequently had no power to run my compressor)Anyway it is
not as pretty as a new one (scratches and dings on the case) but it
works just fine. They will supply a new yoke that is attached by
bolts. You will want to get the quick change yoke pins and an
adjustable set holder from Avery. Makes switching from the hand
squeezer to the pneumatic and back much easier and faster. ;)

I bought a used squeezer from them, don't remember what it cost.
it was a rebuilt, has a 3" yoke
works great, no regrets, I get alot of use out of it on
the 1/8" rivets

I was at the YardStore on Friday, and looked at the 2 squeezers they
had there.
The both were rebuilt, with new yokes attached with bolts.
On one, the "safety" was ground off, so you might not want that one.
They both looked pretty well used on the exterior, but from what I
understand they are taken apart and rebuilt so that they should be in
good condition.
If you can get a 30 day money-back guarantee from them (or a
warranty), it probably wouldn't hurt to order.
Avery has often had a squeezer sale in December too... you might want
to call and check!
