Does the BRS qualify for aerobatic use? I don't have my FARs or I'd
look it up. If not, you need to buy personal chutes also to do
aerobatics. I had an airplane with a BRS and felt comfort in the
fact that I had it if needed (never did). For my RV7 I bought two
personal parachutes. So far I wear it all the time.
For the tip up canopy guys, could it be opened if needed to exit a
moving airplane? I have a slider and never thought of this before.

Another thing to think about is the belt in your ac. A large percent of belts can not be opened if they are loaded to greater than 1.5g.

That is a great question...I am a big guy and wearing a chute in a 7A cramps
my style.
