Fellow Builders,
I have been off line for a while putting out politcal signs and such
for the upcoming election.
I have a pneumatic squeezer and 90 degree drill. Neither are pretty,
but work well. I have gotten good advice from them on the phone. I
didn't have the slightest idea how to adjust for different lengths of
rivets -- use washers. And the safety trigger didn't work once.
They adusted it -- no charge. The Yard is o.k. to buy from. Their
used tool list varies monthly. Just give them a call, or go to the
Web site.
Gentlemen, Ladies: A lot of time has been wasted by the "Dumb
question" thing. I have been in aviation for over 40 yrs. flown big
airplanes as well as G.A. ones. I have carried a 40 lbs. flight bag
from one end of the terminal to the next. With over 16,000 flight
hours I have learned that I have gained experience one hour at a
time, just like all of you. There is always something to be
learned. We must not be afraid to ask questions (dumb or not) for
fear of getting flamed. Lighten up Alaska. This place is for
learning. There are no dumb questions, only dumb answers!
I have learned a lot from this forum. Thanks to all those who have
helped me in my struggle to build, and thanks for answering
my "questions".
