Last week I went looking for the aviation database *chip* which
goes into my Garmin 430, to no avail, I could not find it anywhere.
I tore apart all the packaging, boxes and documentation I have
and it just wasn't there.

I sent an email to John Stark indicating that it was missing. He
mentioned that this occurs quite often and that eventually you
will find it and that it is in a red envelope. These chips cost
around $300. Well I could not find it and I did not remember
seeing the red envelope either.

John said he would send me another chip. This was last Friday
and he said it would go out on Monday.

I know that John must be working a pretty thin margin. All
his product prices are below what I have found anywhere else. To pony
up a $300 chip without hesitation must really cut into his profits.
I appreciate this kind of service, very much. He has my business.

BTW, I found the chip, just like he said, and caught him before
he shipped it out this morning.

I am in no way affiliated with John, just a very satisfied customer.
I highly recommend his products and services.

I ended up going with a local avionics shop, just because of the
convenience of being local. If I hadn't done that, I would have
definitely gone with John Stark. He was extremely responsive to my
questions, gave me the quickest quote, and the LOWEST quote. Based
on my dealings with him, I'd highly recommend him.
