Hi, my centre console was starting out in the link below, it's getting
close to being finished now. Check out the later fuselage pages.
Also, it does look high when there are no seats in the plane. Once
these are added, ergonomically, it's great. The armrest height is the
same as the armrests on the outboard sides.
With respect to room, it does steal some. My console is 4" wide. For
larger people, it could present a problem getting your legs out of the
way of the stick. For me though, it works out pretty good.
