The A500A-V-14 tail light I bought from VAN not too long ago is kind
of brownish, it seems to be made of plastic as opposed to the wing
strobe which are crystal clear (glass).

Am I too picky?
The light is new and look dirty.

Any comments?

Thanks

Does alcohol or acetone clean it? My strobe lenses get "foggy" after a
while, and a little cleaning goes a long way.

I dismentle the tail light to clean up the lense and found
the orange seal ring inside was touching the glass of
the light burning and vaporising thisbrownish residue
on the inside of the lense.

Bad workmanship from the manufacturer

Thanks Dan for the lead,

JP
