Thanks for the response Hugh. The issue is that after adding the Air Flow Performance fuel pump and cover assembly, the cable has to loop farther forward. The Vans drawing shows a small notch to accomodate, but the cable is clearly too short.
A call to Vans said that the RV 8 cable is 8" longer, and they would swap it out. Vans told me that most people with fuel injection opt for the electric trim, so it is rarely? an issue.

Thanks for the warning, I have manual trim and injection so will need the longer cable, at least I can get it sent with my finish kit leaving Van's soon. Now I only have to find a way to get the too short one back to them from England at a cost less than the value of the cable. Pity they didn't give me the option when ordering!
