Hello all you fellow RV lovers,

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Alan Wallace of Twain Harte, CA a small mountain community about 30 minutes east of Columbia airport, (O22). I am a 51 year old Industrial Electrical Contractor with a SEL & SES ticket with 800 hours.

My 22 year old multi engine instrument and A&P licensed son, (Shane) is in his Junior year of college at Cal Poly SLO majoring in Aero-Engineering. Yes you could say we are both severely infected with aviation.

After owing four GA aircraft, the last of which was a beautiful C-205 that I restored and sold about four months ago, I have decided to build an RV-7A. In fact I purchased a used, (flying) RV-6A last month for my son and I to get around in while I build the 7. Man is it fun to fly and difficult to get away from my son.

I received my QB fuselage and wing kit, which was delivered my Partain Transportation last weekend. I built the empennage last month at Synergy Air and will work on attaching it to the fuselage this weekend.

I look forward to sharing idea's with the group and will be posting fairly often.
