Ok. I'm about to use up an entire spool of safetywire just trying to safetywire the end of the
aileron trim bias spring to the control stick tab. I have no problems safetywiring things that
get wire looped around and then twisted with the safetywire pliers, but trying to twist both
ends independantly is killing me! Does anyone have any words of wisdom, or willing to point
a finger at what is probably the obvious solution I'm missing? I'll gladly buy at the next fly-
in!!

I made up two short/small 1/16 inch aircraft cables to replace the
tie wire mess.
Ace Hardware has the cable and squeeze fittings.
Works much better.

Get a couple of small, strong key rings (key fob ring - can't remember
what Webster calls them in the Colonies), make up test wires to
length, once you are happy, slide the end of the wire round the ring
until it is safely locked in. The rings will then slide onto the
holes on the stick base without trouble.
