Greetings, I'm Mark Clouse and I live in Seattle. I've been flying
a C182 for a few years and am interested in improving the performance
of my flying. Almost no one ever goes flying with us, so loosing the
back seat is no big deal and the RV's seem to fit the performance
bill nicely. I'm especially interested in the "9" as it has the
flying characteristics and simplicity that will allow my wife to
learn to fly and still offer us the speed and versitility that would
fit my interest. I hope you don't mind if I observe this list and ask
a few questions from time to time. I'm hopeing to make a model
decision later this winter or spring and start building next summer.
If anyone in the puget sound area would offer me a "look - see" in
the physical realm, I would greatly appreciate it. In any event, I
admire your courage and commitment and hope I can muster the same!
Best Regards
Mark Clouse

Welcome Mark,
My name is Richard Luster and I live in Marysville, Wa (about 40 miles north
of Seattle), currently I fly C172 and am building an RV-9A. I am starting it
in my garage and storing the complete items in an unused room in the house.
I am done with the empennage (except trim) and I have received the wing kit.
If you are in the area some time, you would be more than welcome to stop in.
I fly out of Arlington, and have found many RV builders here at the airport.
On a Sat. drive through the airport, you can usually find 2 or 3 hanger
doors open, with people working on their RVs.
One big problem I have found is trying to determine whether to fly or build,
many times the NW weather makes my choice, but sometime it is tough.
Clear skys
Richard Luster
