Has anybody heard of or seen an RV on ski's, or if it's possible to
put ski's on a tri-gear?

I'm planning on skis for my RV-9. I'd heard of an RV-6 in Norway that was
on skis, but recent information indicates that it is an RV-4. I've been
unable to find out anything further.
I will be flying mine as taildragger while on skis & have already prepared
for easy conversion from TG to TD. Due to the fact that TG RV's use
differential braking, use on skis wouldn't be fun. I don't believe that
there is enough prop clearance for a nose ski. A tail ski is the easiest
solution for prop clearance, steering & drag. (skis create alot of drag)
