If one goes with the quick build option are there some tools that can
be exluded? i.e. pneumatic squeezer,etc.

With the QuickBuild option, what it does for you, is reduce the amount of
time that you will use your tools but it doesn't mean you can eliminate any
tools. You just use your tools less.
Hope this helps you,
Mike

I am building the quickbuild 9A. I bought the Avery RV Kit package
of tools. I have used them all. Some of the tools are used very
little (so far) but you still need them. I have gotten by with a
hand squeezer and my opinion is that the pneumatic squeezer is
overkill on a quickbuild. If you have the extra $$$, buy one, but
you really don't need it. I have riveted every rivet by myself. I
have done OK, even though a partner would have moved things along
faster. I am now putting the bottom outboard skin on the right wing
and you will definitely need help from a rivet partner to do this
part. After that I move on to the fuselage. The QB kit is well put
together and I still can't believe how well everything fits, just
cleco, drill, deburr, prime sometimes, cleco, rivet. Jack N489JE QB
wings.
