Just wondered what the builders who have actually completed an
airplane thought the major milestones are?
I Know the kits come in four sections, but in terms of mental and
physical endurance, where is the halfway point? When do you start to
feel like its downhill?
Changing my set-up and waiting on the wing kit to arrive,

For me it was two times. When I first got the fuselage completely
closed in and when I saw it up on the mains with the empanage on for
the first time.
Another milestone was when I moved it to the airport. The final two
were when I installed the wings and the day I hung the motor.
Each time it was like a new project from that day on.
Mid point would be when you finnish the fusealge.

Let's not forget about the day you roll the fuse over, jump in it and make
airplane noises. I made my girlfriend get in with me and make noises. Just
then the neighbors walked around the corner of the garage and looked in the
open door at us 2 idiots. It was definitely a milestone.
