Was wondering if anyone has installed the Proprietary Software Angle of Attach unit in a -9 yet, and if so, if you have the dimensions for where you located the ports. I am about ready to install the unit ( I was a little optimistic when I bought it at Oshkosh 2001) and thought I'd see where others have installed it.

Hi Curt;
I've installed the AOA on my "9", but I due to my auxiliary fuel tanks on
the outboard leading edge I did not use the factory recommended position of
11" aft of LE, 4 3/4 - 7 1/2" IB of skin edge. Jim from AOA, said as long as
the ports are located outboard of the flaps and between 25% and 40% of chord
it will work fine.
I located the ports 16" aft of LE and 6"-8" IB of OB skin edge.
