Can anyone advise me if the Power / Data Cable that can be ordered with the
Garmin portable GPS's (ie, GPS 295) includes an RS 232 output that can be
used with the Trutrak auto pilot?

I have A NAV AID autopilot coupled to a Garmin 295, Works great. The same
output will drive about any autopilot.

I spoke to Trutrak about this, they said the output from the Garmin 295 will
work with their system. I believe the output standard they use is NEMA.
