Good to see the group of -9 builders at Oshkosh and a special thanks to Phil Perry for the hospitality and burgers at his camper. Nice to be able to put faces to names every now and then.
Steve and I made it back to Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday before we had to abandon ship and get picked up. Weather closed in like a curtain with only 125 miles to go. We plan to go back up on Thursday to get the Cherokee, assuming the thunderstorms ever stop (it's raining right now).
See you all next year or sooner.

Curt,
It was indeed a pleasure to meet all of the 9 builders and swap experiences.
And putting faces with names is nice. Don't feel bad about leaving your
plane in Lafayette, I had to leave mine in Rome Georgia on the way back from
Sun N Fun, twice, due to weather not letting us cross the Smokey Mountains.
When we returned to get the rental car back five days later, I swear another
storm followed us from Indiana. After leaving my Skyhawk in Rome for 26 days
a friend flew me down to pick up the plane.
Anyway, I hope we can all get together again next year, and some of us
sooner. I came out pretty good on the beer. I had six different types
bulging out of my cooler when you all left.

Phil, Curt and all,

It was great to get together and meet all of the other 9 builders. There must have been at least a dozen of us on Tuesday morning. Phil sorry I couldn't make it Thursday evening, it sounds like I missed out on a few good stories and beers!

I'm not sure what the total 9 count was at Osh, but there must have been at least 7 counting the two in the egenfelner(sp?) subaru booth. It was great to see some fine (and not so fine;) flying examples.

Todd

Curt

I think your being cruel, I left Thursday and came home to Texas, it
is 100+ and rain is a distant memory around here.

It was nice to meet the group of -9 builders.
