For those of you who are looking for ways to run wires around your planes,
you might consider a fitting called a Bow knuckle. These are used in marine
industry for boat canopies. I had looked for ages for something that would
allow me to run a conduit through the wings via the lightening holes
attached to the wing ribs. I looked at lots of electrical fittings but could
find nothing that allowed the attach point to be at 90degrees to the
direction of the wire run.
These devices are either h/duty stainless steel or nylon and light and
come in sizes 20, 25 or 32 mm ( 3/4 inch 1 inch , 1.25 inch) and allow you
to either run a conduit through the clamps and then wires in the conduit ,
or just run wire bundles within the clamps.

These are useful if you have already fitted your wing ribs and want to run
more wires, or for routing to the rear fuselage for lights, magnetometers
etc.
