Hi Michael:
I`ve got a good helper. The building time including me and Mr. Fontinelli, was 1060hs.
My first time in a garage dealing with bits, rivets, aluminum plates and a manual to
direct all the job.
There is a group here in Brasil charging US$ 15,000 to build a standart RV-9A kit. Now I
know I`ve did the correct choice in building it bymyself and helper.
The stall speed with no flaps, idle rpm, almost level attitude, is 50 Kts.
The climb, full power, half fuel, QNH = 1025, air temp=29 C, from MSL to fl035 is 1700
fpm. 3 blade Catto prop.
I`ve got a little high #3 CHT temp. Around 450 F. Then I decide to check the maximum
speed another time.
