Hi all,
I am new to this group. I am from Victoria, BC in Canada and I just
picked up a QB RV9a kit (#9798) from Vans Yesterday. We opened it up
today and did the inventory check. We are not finished yet with the
process. I will keep you all posted on the progress.

Welcome Hifly: I completed my 9A quickbuild in April. I now have 40+
hours of flight time. The building process took me around 1250 hours
to get it flying. That's without the fairings or paint. I have read
a recent builder completion report where someone completed a
quickbuild with less than 900 hours. That is very possible. If I
started a new one today, I am confident that I could complete it in
1000 hours. You have joined a great building community and there are
alot of great resources available for help. While other builders like
me can give you suggestions and tell you of our mistakes or tips, I
always double checked with Vans tech support on "major issues". Have
