Could anyone tell me if the tool kits that are made for building RV's
that all the tool companies offer are what a builder needs or are
there aother tools that might be needed, or are there used tools on
the market, or if someone out there with a large amount of experience
building RV's has a list of tools that you might think is the tool
kit that would be needed. Thanks Ken

There are 2 RV tool kits available from Avery. I would recommend getting both of these plus a complete numbered drill bit set from 1 to 60. A fractional drill set wouldn't hurt either. Get your self a unibit (I have two different sizes) and a tapered reamer. I also bought the pneumatic squeezer. Not a must but sure helps… Common tools: I bought and have used a lot: A drill press – should be able to go as slow as 250 rpm for the fly-hole cutter. A very good quality 14.4 volt cordless drill with at least one spare battery so you always have fresh juice. You could also need a band saw, belt sander, grinding wheel (for the scotchbrite wheel) and an air compressor. A dremel tool also comes in handy and a pneumatic drill for the times you need the super fast speed. I would highly recommend the wise-grip dimple tool for tight quarters – not very expensive but handy. The 'longeron yoke' is the yoke I use most for my squeezers. You may want this if you are starting with just one. I also use a 'no-hole yoke' for tight riveting.

I'm sure there is more – anyone else?

Hopethis helps,
