For the RV6 (& 9 if anybody's there yet)slider fans:
I'm fabbing the slider roll bar fairing......I'm told I should
really 'beef it up' due to high stress of folks grabbing it (I did
add the handles), and hitting it with their knees and feet while
entering/exiting. I've been using 3" x 8.7 oz. cloth and started off
with 2 layups (trimming the excess off the 3"). I've been adding
another layer each day to see how it stiffens up. Just put on my 5th
layer and it feels pretty good.
Question: What have others done?
Also, I put on 4 layers of the same cloth to transition the
windscreen to the top skin. I'm happy with it but again.......what
are you folks doing?
Following up on all the above with micro balloons.

I made mine out of .032" aluminum.

Again mine is aluminum.
