It should work as long as wires or conduit isn't allowed to sag down onto the
control push-pull tubes.

A small round hole is of no consequence in the rib web, strength wise, as
long as it isn't too close to the radius for the flange (1/2" or so). Make
sure you de-burr the holes. I used the blue conduit from home depot in mine
and I have plenty of room if I need to pull in a couple new wires. Buy the
way, you might want to consider leaving a string or small wire (20 awg) in
the conduit in case you have to pull something through it later that you
didn't think of.
