Jan, or anyone else,

Could you please elaborate specifically on the Eggenfeller Sub PRSU.
I've read all the threads over the last few weeks concerning this
obviously very passionate issue. I have no problem with the subaru
which has obviously proven itself on the road, but what no one seems
to be talking about is that this was done with a transmission. So,
in my opinion, the engine is not what should be in question, but
rather the PRSU. The sub website shows a picture of one with 150hrs
on it. How much does it have now? And what kind of inspection
process is being used to say that it is doing fine(i.e. non-
destructive inspection). If there is a weak link in the Eggenfeller
engine, it would be the PSRU, wouldn't it not? I'm just curious
about the thoughts of others on this issue.

This is not the place for that. You would have to go to
subaruaircraft@yahoogroups.com for this discussion :)

Where is the place to get an answer to my question about where to obtain
replacement parts/components; and whether a local FBO will be able to
service the Subaru engine or repair/replace parts in the unlikely event
that the engine or any of your firewall forward components have
mechanical or electrical difficulties while the pilot is on a trip?
Where do we order replacement components for normal wear and tear? Do
you have a repair parts price list? Do you have published standards to
follow for annuals and routine maintenance?

The Subaru automobiles, including the engine, have a great reputation
for reliability because of the design, quality of manufacture, and the
trained dealer network backed by factory support. What can we expect
from you?
