SNIP Keeping in mind that the wing spars are matched drilled with fuselage
bulkhead 404 I'm not sure what one would do with a completed fuselage that
did not have the matched wing spar to go with it....SNIP

Well, I'd turn it into a ROCKET!!! wooooooo hoooooooooo!

match drilled 404 bulkhead? We don't need no stinking match drilled 404
bulkhead! OTOH, it would be more convenient. I mean, there's about 52
bolts holding the wings to the 404.... a few sloppy holes just aren't gonna
matter.

I'd say that the only important part would be to keep the steel spar splice
bars with the wings.

I got an email from a Rocket flyer this week. He says that ATC is impressed
with his 311mph ground speed while descending into LA... hmmmm, must've had
a headwind. ;-)

Anyway, whatever the gent wants the RV-4 fuselage for, it only takes a
little sweat to make any part on it.

Enough ramblings.... no flames intended.

Fly safe... and fast.
