Home -> Vans Air Force topic: RV-6A slider canopy fit to fuselage

Author: ronlee@... Time: Mon Sep 16, 2002 5:55 pm PDT Link

I am in the process of trying to purchase a flying RV-6A.

Yesterday I looked at one at my airport and noticed a
substantial (1/2 inch?) gap between the bottom of the
slider canopy and the fuselage.

Is this typical of RV-6As and if so does it create a lot
of wind noise?

Also, is it adjustable (fixable) on a completed aircraft?
