I still have a copy of this email...so that in
four years...
Carly asked what I want for my birthday (March
25th--I'll be 30 again), and I said I wanted to
go to Montgomery to bang aluminum for an hour or
two, go to Macaroni Grill, and then the movies!
I'll give you guys a call in a few weeks to see
if you can help out with numbers 1, 2 or 3! Carly
doesn't do horror movies, but other than that,
we'll go see anything--we just haven't been to a
movie since late November!
Where are you in the construction process? Also,
did you guys prime your last bird? How about this
one? You painted--why? Will you paint again? I
really want a lush, good looking comfortable
ride, especially if we will be in it for hours at
a time. BUT...(there's always a but!)...if you
weight it down with goodies, your ability to fly
fast and far gets decreased, as well as adding to
the total construction time. I have still batted
back and forth the idea to build a Zenith now,
have it finished in a year, and then turn around
and start the -10. That would give us something
to fly for the four construction years (minus the
Zenith construction year, minus the zenith money,
but I'm sure there would be some sort of
sell-the-zenith-for-avionics discussion around
construction year three!)
Anyway, back to work before this all becomes a
moot point!
