another stupidity:

i countersink the W731 plate for riveting platenuts and not the W726 spacer.
could i riveting platenuts only throught the W731 (normaly we should
riveting platenuts + W731 + W726 together)
or
could i riveting platenuts + W731 (with unused countersink for the rivet
head) + W726 with CS for the rivet head ?

thank's for help

Olivier:

That shouldn't be a problem as near as I can tell looking at the
plans. Your platenuts are still in the proper spot, they're just
secured by countersunk rivets on the other side of the tie-down
bracket rather than on the other side of the spacer angle.

The only problem you MAY have is in assembling the tie down
bracket to the spar. When the spacers are riveted on with the tie-
down bracket...it makes just one unit you're lining up with the
holes in the main spar (which, of course, hold the bolt). But with
a very small amount of effort, you should be fine.

There's no structural consideration from what I can see. The
strength is supplied by the bolts and the platenuts are firmly
secured.

Just make sure your bolt holes through the bracket, the the
spacer and the spar all line up and be sure you mark the spacer
properly. It can be a pain in the neck if you do what I did -- make
four of them -- two for each wing -- and then got them mixed up. It
wasn't impossible, but there were better ways to waste an hour than
trying to rematch 'em all.
