It helps to have a passenger who is a competent pilot. I suppose an two
axis auto-pilot would serve the same function.

One point about this trip is that both of us were getting derrier sore. Is
there a seat cushion that is great for long trips?

Amen to that. Even my temper foam isn't very comfortable after a couple of hours.

Yes, there are seat cushions that are still comfy after a long
trip. Oregon Aero makes them. They use multiple layers of temper-foam. The
bad news, though, is that they`re pretty spendy. Nevertheless, I went with
these cushions in my -8, and I`m not sorry I did. I guess one way to look
at it would be: You only have to buy them once.
