If anyone is interested in an rv4 that got a light prop strike on
start up email me with your contact info and I'll forward it along to
the owner.
He says it doesn't need a teardown (but the price reflects) just
needs a prop.
It's located in bakersfield,ca.

Didn't I just see a new AD that requires a tear down with ANY prop
strike on a Lycoming???? I know I have it on file at home -- I'll
look it up and post it later in the week unless someone beats me to it

Is this the Kawasaki green RV-4 with the turtle deck? I've always
liked that airplane.

No, but you're close. They're both at the same airport and
the owners are in the same EAA chapter. 71 IIRC.
Tim, with the turtle deck got the idea for the green color from a
NASCAR. I can't remember which one he said. It sure works doesn't
it. I've been for a ride in mean green. It flies real good from the
back seat too.
