Hi,

Did you ever track down the inflatable tailwheel?

Regards

Richard

Oshkosh. The Andair web site does not have the item and Tim, at Aircraft Spruce, could
not find on either. I love this item. Does anyone know where I can purchase one of these
tailwheels?

Thanks.

Andair no longer makes these tailwheels - it was taking them too
long to make them, and the costs were too high I believe (they still
hace a cupboard full of tyres)! You could try a glider tailwheel -
most modern German gliders use pneumatic tailwheel - although I
don't know how they would stand up to use on an RV.

I use a plastic scooter wheel with a 6 x 1.25 inch pnuematic tire on my RV4.
It has held up OK for 50 hours and counting. May not do so well on a
heavier RV (mine is 920 Lb. empty).
